The last month of 2024 was a massive highlight for me, with a final trip to Malaysia and Singapore just before the end of the year. The reason for the visit - Studiosity proudly sponsored and presented at the TransformED 2024 conference in KL, organised and hosted by Monash University Malaysia and Monash University Indonesia. It was a remarkable gathering of educators, thought leaders, and innovators committed to enhancing teaching and learning excellence.
This year’s theme, "Transforming Education: Innovations for the Future," resonated deeply with our mission of providing all students with equitable access to high-quality academic support.
An exciting part of the conference for me was the opportunity to co-present alongside Dr Tridib Saha, the Director of the Education and Training Academy at Monash University Malaysia. Together, we shared data on the transformative impact of Studiosity's fast, ethical feedback on the academic outcomes of Monash Malaysia students.
Our session showcased the key insights and real-world results that Monash Malaysia have observed:
- Better academic outcomes: There was a clear correlation between Studiosity use and significantly higher WAM and unit marks
- Increased Student Engagement: Data revealed significant upticks in student participation and satisfaction with academic support.
- Improved Academic Confidence: Feedback from students indicated that Studiosity's timely support boosted their confidence in tackling complex assignments and managing coursework challenges.
- Positive Institutional Outcomes: The service has contributed to Monash Malaysia’s broader goals of fostering a culture of excellence in teaching and learning.
The event concluded with the highly anticipated Awards dinner, a fitting celebration of innovation and achievement in education. The dinner was a testament to the incredible efforts of educators and administrators who are driving positive change across the academic landscape, and Studiosity were proud to support it. It was heartening to see Caryn Lim, Senior Director at Monash Malaysia, share her enthusiastic review of Studiosity’s role in supporting the university’s mission. Her kind words were both humbling and motivating, underscoring why the partnership between Studiosity and Monash Malaysia is so successful.
Supporting and attending the TransformED 2024 conference was an absolute honour. At Studiosity, we deeply value our partnership with Monash University Malaysia and are inspired by their commitment to providing students with the resources they need to thrive. Events like these remind us of the profound impact we can achieve when institutions and organisations collaborate to support learners worldwide.
